Hellissandur is the town at the western tip of the peninsula Snæfellsnes. The Panorama of the snowcovered vulcano Snæfellsjökull is truly impressing. Out to sea there is the Westfjords-skyline at the horizon.Many visitors come to Hellissandur because they want to explore the Nationalpark Þjoðgarðurinn Snæfellsjökull.
