Hotels In Lahemaa, EstoniaPark Hotel PalmseLahemaa, EstoniaThe large 18th century residence, which once belonged to the von Pahlen family, has been restored and is now, once more, the jewel in the crown of the park. The group of buildings which form the manor are surrounded by park, where trees, both common and rare, can be found, as well as a lake with swans and a garden pavilion. Beyond, lie the woods and the forest. Nowadays, the manor itself is a museum and is open to the public. One of the largest of the group of buildings in the manor complex is the former distillery which has been rebuilt to form the hotel. This has meant that the unity of the manor buildings has been preserved as a whole, taking into account heritage and environment. Our guests are offered everything which can be expected from a high class country hotel. Sagadi HotelLahemaa, EstoniaHistorically the manors have always expected guests and received them cordially. Sagadi Manorial Estate caters to all needs of the guests - recreational as well as business related endeavours. The Sagadi Forest Centre at the Sagadi manorial estate on the northern coast of Estonia, is surrounded by the beautiful nature of Lahemaa National Park. The history of the estate dates back more than 500 years. Nowadays, Sagadi has become a renowned centre for environmental education, culture and tourism. The onetime wealth of the Sagadi lords of the manor was partly founded on the forest. Furthermore, the manorial estate was renovated by the forestry organisation in the 1970s, and even now, the forestry people â more precisely the State Forest Management Centre (RMK) - administer the Sagadi manorial estate. The Forest museum, manor house museum, nature school, hotel, hostel, and restaurant all function together. What makes Sagadi manorial estate unique is the integrity of the complex â numerous outbuildings together with the estate gardens and ponds, arranged with baroque symmetry in the landscape. Sagadi manorial estate is an architectural ensemble of national importance. The valuable heritage of the Sagadi estate is the foundation of the modern day activities of the forest centre. The visitor can learn new things about the forest and nature, enjoy the beautiful countryside, stay in a comfortable hotel and delight in delicious food in a beautiful environment. The Sagadi hotel is located due east from the bell tower that has become the symbol of the manorial estate, in the historic circular stables building.
