The Hurtigruten
Thirteen Ships To Choose FromMillennium Ships: Our newest vessels, the MS Fram, MS Midnatsol, MS Finnmarken, and the MS Trollfjord, were built in the last four years. They accommodate over 650 passengers and have larger decks and 40% more berths than our Contemporary Ships. All ships boast panoramic lounges, a gym, saunas, Internet cafe, conference facilities, a small outdoor pool and Jacuzzis. Contemporary Ships: The six Contemporary Ships, M/S Nordlys, M/S Richard With, M/S Kong Harald, M/S Polarlys, M/S Nordkapp and M/S Nordnorge were built between 1993 and 1997, and accommodate approximately 490 passengers each. Although similar in exterior, each ship has her own specific style on board in terms of color schemes and the art and artists chosen to decorate the interior. On each ship there are anywhere from 2 to 14 suites available. Mid-Generation Ship: The Mid-Generation Ship MS Vesteralen, was built in the early 1980s and refurbished in 1995. It accommodates approximately 320 cruise passengers. Traditional Ship: Reminiscent of classic steamer vessels, our remaining traditional ship MS Lofoten (limited service) was built in 1964 and has been scrupulously maintained and upgraded. |
