Located in the south on the Adriatic the Bay of Kotor is one of the nicest areas to visit in Montenegro. For centuries this bay was the boundary between Christianity and Islam.

Today the bay is lined with numerous beaches, several tourist resorts and a few historical sites. The most important attractions in the area are Kotor, Risan with its fortress, the Island of Flowers near Tivat and the monasteries of Petrovac.

Sveti Stefan is a magical area which contains two famous hotels owned by Milocer. Sveti Stefan is contained on an island outcrop and is a former fishing village which in the 60's was a hedonistic destination for the likes of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

Take the mountain road from Kotor to Cetinje for views that you will never forget. Drive on to the Durmitor National Park and the scenery both there and en route is truly stunning! The people you can meet are unbelievably helpful.
