Ulfshyttans Herrgard

Historic Ulfshyttan was built 100 years ago. It is located in the countryside with a lively, informal atmosphere where comfort and excellent food are given top priority. The Hotel is a charming manor house in a pretty setting. There is a unique turret room with panoramic views in all directions. Art exhibitions are available in the picture gallery and there is a library with fascinating old books and an open hearth. The restaurant enjoys a delightful view over Lake Ulfssjon.

Location

The hotel is south of Borlange in the heart of the iron-producing region of Bergslagen. A foundry was established here as early as the beginning of the 17th century. The blast-furnace, the ruins of which can be seen at Ulfshyttan, was built at the end of the 18th century.
