The oldest hotel in Tampere, there are only two older hotels in the country. We have been the venue for legendary parties and hosted illustrious patrons like Carl Gustaf Mannerheim, Marshal of Finland, and the Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. From day one, we wanted to be a grand hotel. Nothing but the best building materials were used and furniture, tableware and silverware were shipped all the way from France. We are famous for the genuine 1920s feel, the classic staircase and the period furniture found in the corridors and rooms. The excellent rooms guarantee you a good night's sleep, you may even select your pillow.

Where gourmands get together

Gourmands have always loved the restaurants of Tammer. Like a piece of northern Italy right in the middle of Tampere, the Trattoria serves you a fragrant truffle risotto, succulent knuckle of pork or lovely bruschetta bread. We take great pride in our bountiful buffet. We recommend it for all festive occasions: May Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, in hunting season, Christmas... Decorated with crystal chandeliers, our unique dining room makes an impressive milieu for the refreshing Solo breakfast, including special coffee and fresh bread.
