Kangerlussuaq Hotel

Kangerlussuaq, a former US military base, is the main gateway to Greenland. Since Hotel Kangerlussuaq is connected to the airport terminal, accommodation is easily handled. On the other side of the landing strip is the base area proper, featuring activities like a bowling alley, an indoor public swimming pool and a nightclub.

The former cinema has been rebuilt into a conference room that can accommodate up to 272 persons. There are also meeting facilities accommodating up to 50 persons.

The restaurant, located in the airport building, offers international cuisine with savoury Greenlandic specialties.

There is also a discotheque and bar at the former base (2 kilometres from the hotel) that accommodate 300 persons.

Hotel Kangerlussuaq offers 3-star accommodation with 11 single rooms and 59 double rooms, each with its own bath and toilet. Each room has a color TV, phone, etc. For guests who prefer extra comfort, we also have two luxury suites. Hotel Kangerlussuaq has a number of rooms with access for people with disabilities and of course smoke-free rooms.
