Borgund Stave Church is a stave church located in Borgund, Lærdal, Norway. It is classified as a triple nave stave church of the so-called Sogn-type. This is also the best preserved of Norway's 28 extent stave churches.

Itinerary

Arrive in Oslo on your own. Overnight Opera Hotel.

Depart on scenic train to Myrdal and change to famous Flam Mountain Railway to Fjord Land. Cruise on Sogne Fjord to Gudvangen. Dinner and overnight at Gudvangen Fjordtell.

Depart by boat on the fjords from Gudvangen to Laerdal. Upon arrival in Laerdal , transfer to the hotel on your own and check into the Hotel Lindstrom for overnight and dinner. In the afternoon, a local bus will take you to visit the Borgund Stave Church.

Today the Bergen Bus will take you through the longest car tunnel in the world from Laerdal to Aurland and on to Flam. From there another tunnel takes you to Gudvangen and then to Voss and on to Bergen. Overnight at Hotel Augustin.
