Geiranger is the growing glory among Norway's fjord district's pearls of natural beauty. Majestic, snow-covered mountain peaks, beautiful and wild waterfalls, lush, green vegetation and the deep blue waters of the fjord - yes, it really is like something taken from a fairy tale. Take a fjord sightseeing trip and see it all! Or follow the rinds that twist and turn steeply through one hair-pin bend after another up to Dalsnibba, Flydalsjuvet and Ørnesvingen. From here you will have a fantastic view of one of the most beautiful scenic panoramas anywhere in the world.

Ferry from Geiranger to Hellesylt on the beautiful Geirangerfjord.

The Geirangerfjord is one of Norway's most visited tourist sites and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005. Along the fjord sides, there a number of now abandoned farms. The most commonly visited among these are Skageflå, Knivsflå and Blomberg. Skageflå may also be reached on foot from Geiranger, while the others can only be seen from the fjord.

Waterfalls; The fjord is also host to several impressive waterfalls. The two most notable waterfalls in the Geirangerfjord are the even Sisters and the Suitor (also called 'the Wooer'). The two falls face one another across the fjord, and the Suitor is said to be trying to woo the sisters opposite.

The Bridal Veil is another waterfall in the fjord, so named because it falls delicately over one rocky edge, and when seen backlit by the Sun it has the appearance of a thin veil over the rocks.

Bus to Loen depart only 100 m. away from the ferry.

After arrival Hellesylt, walk up the pier and board the bus bound for Stryn and Loen. Loen in Stryn Community in inner Nordfjord offers some of the most magnificent landscapes in Europe.

The powerful Briksdal Glacier is a part of the Jostedal Glacier National Park. The wild glacier swoops down from a height of 1200m to the lush, narrow Briksdal Valley - a beautiful sight that attracts 300,000 visitors from all over the world each year. Good food and drink, accommodation in a mountain lodge or cabin, the trip arrangements and a well-stocked souvenir shop make sure your trip to Briksdal will be memorable.  The "Safari boats" on the lake in front of Briksdal Glacier is a very popular activity.  You are welcome to take part (Not included - must be prebooked)
