Arrive Ålesund and transfer on your own to hotel

The town of Ålesund has a beautiful setting across several islands stretching out into the Atlantic Ocean, and is known for its architecture in Art Nouveau style, since it was rebuilt in 1904 after a devastating fire. And it’s no coincidence that Ålesund and the surrounding areas are among the most visited sites for tourists in

Norway. Many use The Art Nouveau town as a starting point to explore the renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Geirangerfjord, the bird sanctuary island of Runde, or the spectacular snow-capped summits of the Hjørundfjord and the Sunnmørsalpene.

Breakfast at your hotel before departure. Make your way to the point of departure, a short stroll from your hotel. Ask front desk for directions if you need. Spend the day in Geiranger. Suggested activities: tour of the Norwegian Fjord Center, hiking or trip to Dalsnibba. Dinner and overnight at the Union Hotel.
