Once in a life time; rock your body in ice disco, drive snowmobile trough snowy forest, spent one evening at genuine reindeer farm enjoying a reindeer sleigh ride and observing the arctic night sky illuminated by stars and, who knows, by magical Northern Lights

Itinerary

Transfer from Rovaniemi airport to downtown hotel by private car with driver. Small gift for children awaits in the room. Dinner at the hotel.

Snowmobile to Husky Farm, Celebration at Arctic Snow Hotel After buffet breakfast in hotel your guide will pick you up to go together to Safari House, where you get thermal outfit and instruction on snowmobile driving, handling and regulations. We drive through the fells towards the husky kennels. There you get to know these strong, beautiful and social animals and learn about how they are bred, reared and trained. Also experience how it feels to be on a sled safari pulled by living creatures, when the roar of the car engine is replaced by the whoosh of sled runners and playful barking! Before return back to civilization we enjoy a very typical Lappish picnic in “Kota” (Lappish hut) around open fires: grilled sausages and hot berry juice. Then it’s off home again by snowmobiles. Duration 4 h. Gala buffet dinner with a glass of sparkling wine in hotel and Santa Claus visit during the evening. At 22.00 transfer to the beautiful Arctic Snow Hotel to celebrate New Year Eve. Here you may visit the spectacular hotel made of snow and ice and decorated with amazing ice sculptures.

Celebration culminates with fireworks at midnight!

Evening excursion to Reindeer Farm

Brunch with a glass of sparkling wine. Day at disposal for optional activities and excursions:

* Excursion to Santa Claus Village including lunch

* Snowmobile safari and Ice Fishing,

* Snow Shoe trek and Ice Fishing,

In the evening, when the arctic sky gets dark and fulfills sparkling stars, we head out of the city to spend a stress less evening in a local reindeer farm surrounded by pure nature. At the farm we will hear stories about reindeer herder´s daily life and we will also learn to drive sleigh pulled by a reindeer. We'll also get familiar with Lappish gastronomy during the dinner, made of local ingredients. And if we are lucky enough, we might see also the Aurora Borealis dancing on the sky during the evening.
