Day 1     St. Petersburg
Accommodation: Marriott Tverskaya Hotel

After boarding the early afternoon high speed ‘Sapsan’ train from

St. Petersburg to Moscow you can enjoy the Rural Russian

landscape passing by. The history of Moscow dates back to 12th

century and is one of the biggest cities in Europe, a home for more

than 10 million people. Moscow has managed to preserve a great

number of historical monuments as well as its old urban structure.

Transfer by private car to your hotel. Overnight.

 
Day 2     Moscow
Accommodation: Marriott Tverskaya Hotel
Meals: Breakfast

Breakfast at hotel. The day begins with an excursion to the Kremlin. It is the most important landmark of the capital and its historic nucleus, the former residence of the Czars, now the seat

of the Russian President. On Kremlin grounds one can see the

Arsenal, 4 ancient cathedrals, the huge Belfry of Ivan the Terrible,

the Patriarch’s Palace, the Czar Bell and Czar Cannon and more…

Enjoy the Kremlin’s most precious gem – Armory, Treasury of

Czars. The Armory’s huge collection consists of many precious

gifts once presented to Russian Czars by foreign monarchs and

ambassadors as well as their thrones and clothes, ceremonial

carriages and armor, Faberge works and Czar’s regalia.

Lunch is on your own.; you may want to try one of the trendy cafes

of the Manege shopping mall or GUM.

After the lunch we have a walking tour through the Red Square

Enter the square through the Iverskaya Gate near the small

church of our Lady of Kazan. You will see the beautiful red-brick

building of the History Museum, oldest department store GUM with

a very long facade, the place of execution, the Lenin’s mausoleum

and the famous St. Basil’s cathedral, perhaps the most eyecatching

structure in Moscow. Enjoy the view to the Kremlin’s

walls with Spasskaya Tower with chiming clock considered to be

main clock of Russia.

Return back to hotel on foot or you may want to try the metro on

your own. Overnight.

 
Day 3     Moscow
Meals: Breakfast

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport or railway station in

Moscow.
