Day 1     Copenhagen
Accommodation: First Hotel Grand

Individual arrival to your hotel. In the early evening your tour escort will arrange a get together to give information about the tour and give you a chance to meet your fellow travelers. Overnight at Comfort Hotel Vesterbro or similar.

 
Day 2     Copenhagen
Accommodation: First Hotel Grand
Meals: Breakfast

Buffet breakfast. In the morning you will enjoy a city tour, during which you will see The Little Mermaid guarding the port, Nyhavn with all its restaurants and small boats, the City Hall Square and other main features of Copenhagen. The afternoon is free for individual visits, perhaps to the Tivoli Amusement park or an optional tour to Roskilde.

 
Day 3     Copenhagen - Oslo
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Morning free in Copenhagen. Your tour escort will be happy to advise you about places of interest to visit - we can suggest an optional tour to the three castles in North Sealand, including the Kronborg Castle of Hamlet. Afternoon transfer by coach from hotel to DFDS Seaways terminal for your overnight cruise to Oslo, departing at 16.30 hours. Enjoy your first Scandinavian smörgåsbord dinner as you cruise up the Kattegatt. Accommodation in 2-berth inside cabins with shower/WC. We strongly recommend bringing an overnight bag for this cruise, to avoid having to carry your suitcases to and from the cabin. Inside cabin

Buffet breakfast onboard. Enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast as you cruise along the enchanting Oslo Fjord. Arrival in Oslo around 09.30 hours, followed by 3 hours guided tour of the Norwegian capital. You will visit the impressive Vigeland Sculpture Park. Evening free. Overnight at Scabdic Solli Hotel or similar.

Day 6     Oslo - Flam - Bergen

Buffet breakfast. Today you enter the area of the forests and rivers of Norway, following the Hallingdal Valley, known for its folkloric tradition. When you arrive in Flåm, you will have 2 hours cruise on the Sognefjord, one of the longest and deepest in the world with its unspoiled nature and dramatic scenery before you continue to Bergen, the second biggest city of Norway and it is beautifully situated surrounded by 7 mountains. Overnight at First Hotel Marin or similar.

 
Day 7     Bergen

Buffet breakfast. In the morning you will be introduced to this remarkable City of the old Hansa. You will enjoy the view of the Bryggen area of old wooden houses that is part of the UNESCO World Heritage, as well as the traditional Fish Market. Afternoon free to explore Bergen. Overnight.

 
Day 8     Bergen - Stockholm

Buffet breakfast. Departure transfer to international airport outside Bergen. We will take flight to Stockholm – the capital of Sweden. Arrival at Arlanda International Airport in Stockholm. Transfer to your hotel. Hotel in central Stockholm. Overnight in Stockholm

Buffet breakfast. Today you will enjoy a panoramic city tour. Stockholm - the beauty on the water – is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful capitals in the world. This beautiful capital, built on 14 islands with bridges and viewpoints giving an enchanting feeling of space and light. You will walk around the charming Old Town with its narrow cobbled streets, passing The Royal Palace as well as the Great Church, where the present King and Queen were married in 1976. The afternoon is free for individual visits. Overnight.

 
Day 10     Stockholm

The day is free for other excursions or visits to the City Hall, the Wasa Museum or a tour to Uppsala and Sigtuna.

 
Day 11     Stockholm - Helsinki
Accommodation: Overnight Ferry, Stockholm - Helsinki

Buffet breakfast. Morning free in Stockholm. At approximately 15.00hrs you will have a transfer from your hotel to the pier, to embark on the cruise ferry Silja Line. The ferry departs from Stockholm and slowly travels down the glorious archipelago past numerous small islands. Dinner on board. Choice of entertainment, bars, shops and casino. Overnight. Day 12     Helsinki - St. Petersburg
Accommodation: Sokos Vasilievsky

Buffet breakfast onboard. Enjoy your buffet breakfast as you sail into Helsinki. Directly after you disembark there is a guided tour of Helsinki. Famous sights include the Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, Sibelius Park & Monument, Church in the Rock (if open to the public) and much more. The tour ends at the rail station for a trip to St. Petersburg by Allegro train.

Arrival in St. Petersburg, transfer to Hotel Sokos Vasilievsky or similar and overnight.

Buffet breakfast. St. Petersburg is an amazing city. Its imperial palaces and museums enjoy worldwide fame, while the Neva River and the many canals have deservedly given the city the title “The Venice of the North”. During the morning sightseeing tour we get acquainted with all the splendours of the city: the Peter-Paul Fortress, the Winter Palace, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the Church of the Bleeding Savior, the Nevsky Convent and much more. The afternoon offers an optional excursion to Zarskoye Selo with the impressive Catherine’s Palace and the Amber Room, which vanished during World War II and was restored for St. Petersburg’s tri-centennial celebrations. In the evening enjoy an optional visit to the Nikolaevsky Palace with an exciting Russian folklore show and Russian „champagne” and snacks.

The morning is reserved for an optional visit to Peterhof, an uncontested masterpiece of the time of Peter the Great, with the impressive Grand Palace, Grand Cascade and Water Avenue and its wonderful parks. In the afternoon, visit to the world-famous Hermitage Art Museum is offered. In the evening enjoy an optional Russian dinner at a Russian Restaurant .

 
Day 15     St. Petersburg - Moscow

Buffet breakfast at hotel. The early morning is reserved for an optional St. Petersburg channel cruise. Around noon we go to the Moscow Railway Station and board the Sapsan high-speed train bound for Moscow. The train ride takes us through endless Russian landscapes along the River Volga. In the late afternoon we arrive to Moscow and check in at Hotel Holiday Inn Lesnaya or similar

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Moscow, the Mother of Russia, is a genuine Russian city with the Kremlin and its onion domed cathedrals. The dramatic changes over the last decade have made the city to one of the most dynamic metropolis in the world. The morning sightseeing tour includes the highlights of the vast city: the Red Square with St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Theatre Square with Bolshoi Theatre and Sparrow Hills with Moscow University and we visit the Kremlin grounds and one of the cathedrals. In the afternoon is offered visit to the Moscow Metro including the historical stations on the Ring-Line and a guided stroll along the famous pedestrian Arbat Street. The evening offers an optional Moscow by night tour including an unforgettable river cruise with the White Flotilla

 
Day 17     Moscow

Buffet breakfast at hotel. The day offers an optional full day excursion to the quaint town of Sergiev Posad, where we visit the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, the most important Russian monastery and the spiritual heart of the Russian Orthodox Church. The whole Lavra has been beautifully restored for the 700-years celebrations of the birth of St. Sergius of Radonezh. The evening offers an optional visit to the Old Russian Circus.

 
Day 18     Moscow
Meals: Breakfast

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Moscow airport. Today is the day to say farewell to the tour, your travel companions and to the Magic of Scandinavia and Russia tour
