This tour is for passengers who wish to get to know Scandinavia and the Baltics at a very competitive rate. The itinerary includes all three Scandinavian Capitals, but also the scenic Fjord area of Norway plus the highlights of the Baltic countries. Day 1     Copenhagen
Accommodation: Scandic Copenhagen

Individual arrival to your hotel. Your confirmation will show which hotel we have booked for you. In the early evening your tour escort will arrange a get-together to give information about the tour and give you a chance to meet your fellow travellers. Overnight at Scandic Copenhagen or similar.

 
Day 2     Copenhagen
Accommodation: Scandic Copenhagen
Meals: Breakfast

Buffet breakfast. In the morning you will enjoy a city tour, during which you will see The Little Mermaid guarding the port, Nyhavn with all its restaurants and small boats, the City Hall Square and other main features of Copenhagen. The afternoon is free for individual visits, perhaps to the Tivoli Amusement park or an optional tour to Roskilde. Overnight.

 
Day 3     At Sea
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Buffet breakfast. . Morning free in Copenhagen. Your tour escort will be happy to advise you about places of interest to visit - we can suggest an optional tour to the three castles in North Sealand, including the Kronborg Castle of Hamlet. Afternoon transfer by coach from hotel to DFDS Seaways terminal for your overnight cruise to Oslo, departing at 17.00 hours. Enjoy your first Scandinavian smörgåsbord dinner as you cruise up the Kattegat. Accommodation in 2-berth inside cabins with shower/WC. We strongly recommend bringing an overnight bag for this cruise, to avoid having to carry your suitcases to and from the cabin.

 
Day 4     Oslo
Accommodation: Rica Hotel
Meals: Breakfast

Buffet breakfast onboard. Enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast as you cruise along the enchanting Oslo Fjord. Arrival in Oslo around 09.30 hours, followed by 3 hours guided tour of the Norwegian capital. You will visit the impressive Vigeland Sculpture Park. Evening free. Hotel in the centre of Oslo.

 
Day 5     Oslo - Bergen
Accommodation: First Hotel Marin
Meals: Breakfast

Buffet breakfast. Today you enter the area of the forests and rivers of Norway, following the Hallingdal Valley, known for its folkloric tradition, and continue to Geilo, a winter resort, refreshing also in the summer. You cross the Mountain plateau of Hardanger and on the descent towards the Fjord you pass the famous Waterfall of Vöringsfossen. You cross the Hardanger Bridge and continue along its shores to Bergen, the Gateway of the Fjords. This is Norway's second largest city and it is beautifully situated surrounded by 7 mountains. Overnight.

 
Day 6     Bergen
Accommodation: First Hotel Marin

Buffet breakfast. In the morning you will be introduced to this remarkable City of the old Hansa. You will enjoy the view of the Bryggen area of old wooden houses that is part of the UNESCO World Heritage, as well as the traditional Fish Market. Afternoon free to explore Bergen. Overnight.

 
Day 7     Bergen - Honefoss
Accommodation: Comfort Hotel Ringerike
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Buffet breakfast . Today you will enjoy travelling through the fjord area with fantastic views as well as a 2 hrs cruise of the Sognefjord, the largest fjord in Norway. After the cruise, we leave the majestic Norwegian fjords behind us and travel towards Honefoss where you stay the night. Dinner and overnight.

 
Day 8     Honefoss - Stockholm

Buffet breakfast. Today we head for Stockholm, passing through Norwegian landscapes. We cross the border and enter the county of Varmland in Sweden. Throughout the balance of the day we drive through typical Scandinavian scenery with thick forests which will evoke the atmosphere of the fairy-tales of Trolls and mystery. You will also see lakes and other agricultural areas as you approach Stockholm and arrive in the evening. Overnight in Stockholm.

 
Day 9     Stockholm

Buffet breakfast. Today you will enjoy a panoramic city tour. Stockholm - the beauty on the water – is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful capitals in the world. This beautiful capital, built on 14 islands with bridges and viewpoints giving an enchanting feeling of space and light. You will walk around the charming Old Town with its narrow cobbled streets, passing The Royal Palace as well as the Great Church, where the present King and Queen were married in 1976. The afternoon is free for individual visits. Overnight.

 
Day 10     Stockholm - Vilnius
Accommodation: Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva

Buffet breakfast. Fly to Vilnius, Lithuania (not included)

Arrival in Vilnius, transfer to Hotel Radisson Blu Lietuva or similar, check-in, welcome meeting. Overnight.

 
Day 11     Vilnius

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Vilnius is known for its more than 1.200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. The morning sightseeing tour includes a panoramic tour of the city and a walking tour of the Old Town with Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter and Paul Church, St. Anne’s Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn. The afternoon offers an excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, with the well preserved Trakai Castle, beautifully located on an island on Lake Galve. In the evening enjoy a folklore dinner at Restaurant Belmontas. Overnight.

 
Day 12     Vilnius - Riga
Accommodation: Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija
Meals: Breakfast

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Heading for Riga, the first stop is the Hills of Crosses, one of the most holy sites of Catholic Lithuania. After crossing into Latvia we soon reach the magnificent Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. After a guided tour of the palace we travel through the rolling hills of Southern Latvia to reach Riga in the late afternoon, check-in at Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija or similar. Overnight

 
Day 13     Riga

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Before we get acquainted with Riga we’ll have the possibility of discovering medieval Latvia. The tour for this day takes us to the stunning scenery of the Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda. We’ll listen to the medieval Latvian legend of the Rose of Turaida and see the ruins of the Episcopal Castle, the Castle of the Knights of the Sword before we return to Riga. Overnight.

 
Day 14     Riga - Jurmala

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Riga, founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and boasts a real kaleidoscope of architectural styles. The walking tour of the Old Town includes Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds and the Freedom Monument. The afternoon is reserved for a visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. In the evening you'll enjoy Baltic at the stylish Restaurant La Boheme. Overnight.

 
Day 15     Riga - Tallinn
Accommodation: Radisson Blu Olympia
Meals: Breakfast

Buffet breakfast at hotel. The tour continues along the coastal highway to the Estonian summer resort of Parnu, with a short tour of the resort and a leisurely stroll along the beach. You continue through the North Estonian land of forests to Tallinn. Check-in at the Hotel Radisson Blu Olympia or similar. Overnight.

 
Day 16     Tallinn

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquillity and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. The sightseeing tour takes us around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, the Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and medieval Old Town Hall. In the afternoon an excursion to Kadriorg Park with a visit to KUMU, the award-winning new Estonian art museum, with its collections of classic and contemporary fine art. The evening offers a genuine medieval dinner at the Restaurant Peppersack. Overnight.

 
Day 17     Tallinn
Meals: Breakfast

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Individual transfer to airport/Harbor. Time to say good-bye to the Baltic countries.
