Itinerary

WEDNESDAY

Welcome! The guide is waiting for you at the airport.

Transfer to the city of Rovaniemi. In the safari office you will get all the winter adventure gear for your Lapland package and latest information about the programs. Transfer to your hotel. Check in, dinner is offered in your hotel. Overnight 4 nights at Katkavaaran Luontokeskus.

THURSDAY

Breakfast at the hotel.

Introduction to snowmobile driving. After the rich breakfast we join the briefing to snowmobile driving. On our snowmobile safari to the husky farm we traverse incredible beautiful winter scenery driving ourselves on modern and ecological snowmobiles. At the husky farm we join their 30 minutes husky safari across taiga forests.

We drive ourselves and exchange drivers on the half way. Afterwards we listen to interesting stories about huskies and their life. Light lunch is offered during the day.

At the hotel we may enjoy Finnish sauna and dinner. After the dinner we join Lapland Welcome legendary Northern Lights trip and have a great chance to see the Northern Lights - Aurora Borealis. Exciting evening trip where you also learn something about old Finnish mythology and shamanism.

FRIDAY

Breakfast at the hotel.

Snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm and Santa Claus village. Today we jump on the snowmobiles again and head us across the wild forests to a reindeer farm where we meet traditionally dressed Lapps. At the farm we listen to their stories about reindeer herding and wilderness life. We may try some reindeer sleigh ride ourselves on their driving track. Lunch during the day. Afterwards we drive our snowmobiles to the Arctic Circle and after crossing it we meet Santa Claus and have a chance to buy a picture with him.

Santa's village is the best place for shopping and sending cards. Return to by snowmobiles. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

SATURDAY

One day winter activities like snowshoes, kick sledding, sledding and ice fishing. Breakfast in the hotel. After the breakfast we go trying these traditional outdoor activities in breath taking nature views. Lunch during the day. Sauna and dinner is offered at the hotel.

SUNDAY

Airport transfer. Good bye Lapland !
