Itinerary

Arrival Helsinki on own. . Greeted by the driver outside customs, you are escorted to the car for a 40min transfer to the Sokos Presidenti Hotel. If time permits we suggest sightseeing of famous sights which include the Senate Square, Uspenskij Cathedral, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, University of Helsinki, New Opera House, Sibelius Park & Monument, Underground Temple, and other interesting sights.

Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to Helsinki Airport for flight (flight not included) to Rovaniemi. Arrival in Rovaniemi, transfer to your hotel in Rovaniemi city center. Afternoon free for sightseeing.

Breakfast at hotel. During day time a great activity to for the whole family is the Santa Clause Village or Park and the Polar Museum.

In the evening it is time to experience the northern lights - Lapland nights are beautiful under the dark starry sky! You are picked up at the hotel for night in the snow.After careful instructions, it’s time to start you snowmobile adventure.

We drive through the mysterious snowy forest to take you away from the city lights in order to have a better chance to see the magical Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights. During the tour we will have a longer stop while making a fire and frying sausages in the darkness. The safari is suitable for families with children. Children are traveling in the sledge pulled by the guides snowmobile. (Duration approximately 3hrs)

Breakfast at hotel. Following breakfast it’s time for a time a day of fun in the snow. This 3 hour tour allows you to try the best of Lapland all in one time. Picked up at the hotel you will first visit a Lappish farm, have a ride with sleigh pulled by the reindeer and another ride with the excited husky dogs! Things get faster when it is time to try some snowmobiling again and don’t forget also a short hike with snowshoes, hilarious tandem skiing and greatest fun on the sliding hill.

We will celebrate the Snow Fun at the Arctic Circle ceremony held in the typical Kota building and drink some warm juice to give the warmth to your fingers. Fantastic experience for the whole family!

The afternoon is free to explore Rovaniemi and its many shops with traditional craftsmanship.

If time permits we suggest visiting the arctic snow hotel (constructed in ice), 25km outside Rovaniemi. Visit the hotel for a dinner or drinks and experience an evening in magical surroundings.
