Adriatic Cruise

This is a new variation on our popular Venice & the Dalmatian coast program. This cruise allows you to spend a week going from either Venice to Dubrovnik or Dubrovnik to Venice with many wonderful stops along the way.

The itinerary outlined below is for the Venice to Dubrovnik departures. The April 22, July 1 and August 5, 2009, departures are from Dubrovnik to Venice.

Itinerary

Embarkation at 4:00 PM.

Your week-long cruise conveniently begins (or ends) in Venice, where a full-day following embarkation provides time for optional excursions or for pursuing your own interests. In the evening, cruise slowly along the Canale della Giudecca past Piazza San Marco, setting a course for Croatia and its stunning coastal beauty. Dalmatia alone has over 1,000 islands basking in the sun that, along with the coastal cities of Croatia, offer a wealth of art, architecture, culture and history.

You will have the full day to explore Novi Vinodolski.

Today we arrive in Split and will depart from there at 3:00 PM. We will arrive in Makarska in the early evening and spend the night in their harbor.

We will sail at 4:00 AM for Ploce (Mostar) and spend the day exploring this area. We will arrive in Korcular in the evening and spend the night there.

You will have the morning to explore Korcula. We will visit Mijet for about three hours in the afternoon and head towards Dubrovnik, where we spend the next two nights.

You will have the full day to explore the city of Dubrovnik.

Disembark following breakfast.
