What would be more relaxing and interesting than to sail along the beautiful Swedish West Coastline in a vintage, refurbished ship from the early 20th century and stay comfortably at some of the most famous hotels at night? This coastline is very popular with the Europeans arriving by both car and boat.. The towns offer restaurants, cafees and souvenir shops as well as activities. You will be briefed every morning what there is to see and do in each town.

Itinerary

Individual arrivals during the day. Check in at Grand Hotel Opera.

At 6pm a Cocktail and Welcome meeting.

We recommend that you pack a small bag with necessities everyday of the cruise as the bus will transport your main luggage.

After breakfast at the hotel, a bus will pick up and drive tyou to the boat. Before arriving at the pier, a city round tour with bus

10.00am Departure with M/S Ellen of Bohuslän

12.00pm Arrival at Bohus Bjorko

Lunch break at Restaurant Seaside in Bohus Bjorko. (Not Included)

2:00pm The ship departs and sails in and around islands and skerries north to the lively boating center and resort town of Marstrand, host to many sailing regattas.

4.00pm Arrival Marstrand Havshotel where you check in.

(The bus will leace the luggage in the reception luggage room)

Own time. The guide offers tips on what Marstrand has to offer.

Dinner and overnight at Marstrand Havshotel

After breakfast meet your guide at 8.30am for a guided tour of Carlsten Fortress. At the top of Marstrand, Carlsten Fortress this mighty guardian protected for more than 300 years the little wooden town below. Today, the fortress is a captivating experience beyond the ordinary.

10.30am. Departure with M/S Ellen of Bohuslan from Marstrand sailing north. Our next stop is Skarhamn for lunch (not included). After lunch a tour of the Nordic Watercolor Museum (entrance note included). We leave Skarhamn at 3.30pm for a short cruise to our next overnight stop at Bjorholmen.

After breakfast the M/S Ellen of Bohuslan departs at 10.00am.

Relax onboard and enjoy the scenery!

12.00pm we arrive Gullholmen where you will have free time to explore the village and have lunch (not included).

2.00pm Time to depart from Gullholmen to Fiskebackskil another wellknown and popular summer resort town. Overnight at Hotel Gullmarsstrand where you enjoy the spa!

After breakfast a tour of Fiskebackskil with local guide before departing by boat at 10.30am.

Heading north you will arrive in Smogen at 1.00pm. Smogen is one of Sweden’s liveliest “summer towns”. Here you can soak up the relaxed maritime atmosphere and enjoy the picturesque fisherman’s’ cottages and boats that dot the landing stage beside the water. There are many shops and restaurants to choose from. You have free time to explore the town and also have lunch (not included).

Dinner and overnight at Smogens Havsbadshotell.

Breakfast at the hotel. The boat leaves at 9.00am and continues through the archipelago to Fjallbacka where we disembark. Here you have free time to explore this village and also have lunch (not included). Fjallbacka is famous for its prolific crime author Camilla Lackberg whose books always take place in Fjallbacka.

At 2.00pm you will meet your local guide who will take you on a tour of the village.

At 3pm we leave Fjallbacka and continue with M/S Svea of Bohuslan on a 2 hour cruise to Tanumstrand for dinner and overnight. The hotel offers a nice spa!

Breakfast at the hotel. Bring all your luggage to the bus. The bus leaves at 9.00am for a visit at Vitlycke Museum (entrance is included). Vitlycke Museum is an experience and knowledge center for the Tanum World Heritage area. You get information about the Bronze Age period in order to increase knowledge of and interest in the epoch, the landscape and our rock carvings.

At 10.30am the bus departs for Gothenburg and the Grand Hotel Opera. Arrival is estimated at 12.30pm
