Experience the Northern Lights in the outermost regions of Norway - Kirkenes to

Tromsø including a journey on the Norwegian Coastal Voyage around the North Cape Plateau. This tour will give you the best chances of hunting the Northern Lights both by sea and by land. Along the way you also have the opportunity to try a variety of winter activities: King Crab Safari, Husky dog sledding, overnighting in a Snow Hotel, snowmobiling and much more.

Itinerary

Arrival in Kirkenes and self transfer to the hotel.The remainder of

day at leisure in Kirkenes. Evening welcome meeting with Tour Leader, before an evening Northern Lights Safari.

Visit to Kirkenes SnowHotel including a hot berry drink, and a tour of the Snow Hotel suites. Remainder of the day is at leisure and why not

experience a king crab safari, a snowmobile or husky safari. Optional upgrade and stay overnight at Kirkenes SnowHotel or Gamme cabins.

Morning at leisure before embarking the Hurtigruten for your Norwegian coastal voyage around the “Cape”, and enjoying time to relax and admiring the winter landscape.

Arrival to Hammerfest where there is free time to visit the ‘Royal and Ancient Polar Bear Society’ (Museum – free entrance). Then continue across highlands of Sennalandet to Alta, “The Northern Lights city of Norway”. The remainder of the afternoon is free, before evening Northern Lights safari in and around Alta

Visit the Alta Museum to see the expositions about the local history of northern lights and slatery. Remainder of the day is free for an optional

visit to the Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel and here is also a chance to upgrade and stay overnight at the Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel

Today, drive along the Arctic fjords bound for Tromsø, former starting point of many North Pole expeditions. Free time before evening

Northern Lights safari on Kvaløya Island.

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure in Tromsø, where you have the

opportunity to take an optional Snowmobile safari, Husky safari or many more exciting excursions
