Day 1     Dubrovnik
On Board the M/Y Adriatic Prestige

You will be transferred from Dubrovnik’s airport or your Dubrovnik hotel to Gruz Harbor, where embarkation begins at noon. Meet your fellow travelers and your Cruise Manager later at an on-board Welcome Reception. This evening, you can relax or take a walk through Dubrovnik’s vibrant streets.

 
Day 2     Mljet Island
On Board the M/Y Adriatic Prestige
Meals: Breakfast / Lunch

Start the day with a walking tour of Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of Adriatic” and a UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll visit the Rector’s Palace and Franciscan Monastery’s Pharmacy before returning to the boat for lunch. As you dine, set sail for Mljet Island. Mljet National Park encompasses five types of forest, many species of birds, and two deep lakes, Veliko Jezero (Big Lake) and Malo Jezero (Small Lake). Your evening is at leisure.

 
Day 3     Mljet Island - Korcula

After morning to enjoy the spectacular scenery, continue cruising to Korcula, believed to be the birthplace of the explorer Marco Polo. Your walking tour of Korcula Town will take you through its narrow, cobbled streets and will include a visit to the majestic Gothic-Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. The balance of the day is free to explore on your own.

 
Day 4     Vela Luka

Stop for a swim break followed by lunch as you cruise. On arrival to Vela Luka, (the “big harbor”) town, a special treat awaits as you depart on an excursion featuring 3 unique stops. The first will be at the family owned Zlokic Olive Oil Factory and Museum where the owners will show you various methods of olive oil production from the past to the present, followed by a tasting of the various olive oil categories. Then continue to the village of Blato to visit an authentic Ethno House built at the start of the 20th century and where you will see furniture, cooking utensils, and family photos from over 100 years ago. Your final stop will be at the family owned Toreta winery in Smokvica where you will have a chance to taste a variety of Croatia’s world renowned wines, prosciutto and home- made cheese. Return to Vela Luka and enjoy a relaxing evening at one of the local restaurants or café’s lining the harbor.

 
Day 5     Vis
On Board the M/Y Adriatic Prestige

Cruise towards Vis Island the farthest island from the mainland. The town Vis, or antique “Issa”, was founded about 397 B.C. Unspoiled and far from mass tourist routes, Vis is beautiful and serene, a reminder of how life used to be. Enjoy an evening at leisure along the lovely waterfront.

 
Day 6     Vis - Hvar - Stari Grad

Continue your cruise towards Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet-set. The “Croatian Madeira” is also one of the longest islands stretching along the shores of Croatia. A sightseeing tour of Hvar town will introduce you to the first public theatre in Europe (older than Shakespeare’s), the Franciscan Monastery and many more historical sights. Then sail on to Stari Grad for the night. Captain’s dinner aboard our ship tonight, featuring a live A’ cappella band who will entertain you with classic and popular Croatian songs.

 
Day 7     Bol - Split
On Board the M/Y Adriatic Prestige

Sail to Bol, one of the best beaches in Croatia, the Golden Horn. This vast, golden pebble beach is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Over lunch on board, continue sailing to Split. Here, a walking tour shows off the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. End your day at one of Split’s many restaurants and café’s lining the beautiful ocean front promenade.

 
Day 8     Plitvice Lakes - Opatija
Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Disembark after breakfast, bidding your crew farewell and journey north for a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Have your camera at the ready as you take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Marvel at the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with its 16 terraced lakes surrounded by wooded mountains and lush vegetation. Then continue on to Opatija, the famous resort town favored by the Hapsburg dynasty. Dinner is at your hotel.

 
Day 9     Pula - Rovinj - Opatija
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Head to Pula for an orientation tour of this strategic port since the times of the ancient Romans. Here you will visit the Roman Amphitheater, the sixth largest of its kind to be preserved in the world today. Then continue on to the beautiful resort of Rovinj. Where you will have some free time to explore the old town and its narrow lanes before we returning to Opatija.

 
Day 10     Postonia - Venice
Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, travel to Slovenia and visit the unique and beautiful Postojna Caves, one of the largest underground grotto’s in all of Europe. Tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Then continue to Italy and magical Venice, with its idyllic setting on 119 islands. Overnight.

 
Day 11     Venice
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

We begin our exploration of Venice with a boat ride to the Murano Island, famous for its artistic glassware. Visit a glassblowing factory, where you will watch a demonstration of traditional Venetian glassblowing by master craftsmen. Then, on to St. Mark’s Square, for the walking tour, visiting St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace, and enjoying views of the Bell Tower and Bridge of Sighs. The balance of the day is at leisure to enjoy Venice at your own pace, shop, or perhaps join an optional gondola ride. Later, gather for a Farewell Dinner with your new friends.

 
Day 12     Venice
Meals: Breakfast

After a final breakfast, pack your memories away as you transfer to Venice’s airport for your flight home.
