GENTOO PENGUINS

Aitcho is a small island located near Robert & Greenwich Islands in the South Shetlands. This is the place to see wildlife, including gentoo and chinstrap penguins, and weddell and elephant seals.

There are extensive areas of cushion moss beds which provide a green tinge to the landscape. On the far side of the island is Whalebone Beach with its spectacular scenery.
