The Clarion Hotel Ernst is a modern first class hotel in the heart of the city center. The hotel was built in 1858 and has long traditions as a hotel. Each room has a characteristic of its own. Our rooms vary in size furnishing and decorations.

During the summer season, we are the Children's Hotel. We have a children's buffet in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, a large playroom, outdoor playground, sandvolleyball-court, and not to forget - a olympic size, ( outdoor ), heated pool and a children's pool. Outside the summer season we specialize in conferences, and are Southern Norway's largest conference-hotel. Meeting and Congress facilities for 10 - 450 people. The hotel was totally renovated in 2007.
