Some of these original fishermen's "rorbu" cabins have now been refurbished to cater for the tourist of today. The old timber has been retained as far as possible in order to maintain the authenticity of these old buildings which were built before the turn of the last century. When you cross the bridge from Svolvaer, you will see the old white pier and shop on the right which has now been turned into our reception office.
